Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Drawliner ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

Drawliner is a PDF markup and construction takeoff tool. You may use it for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• Upload PDFs you do not have the right to use
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Use the service to process confidential third-party documents without authorization

3. Your Data

PDF files you upload are stored on the server solely to enable project save and reload. We do not analyze, share, or sell your documents. You can delete your projects and PDFs at any time from within the app.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Measurement and takeoff results are estimates — always verify against official drawings before using for bidding or construction.

6. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info: email address and display name when you register
• PDF files: uploaded temporarily to enable cloud save; never shared with third parties
• Project data: your annotation data, measurements, and layer settings
• Audit log: sign-in/sign-out timestamps and project save events, used for security monitoring only

What we do not collect

• We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics
• We do not sell or share your data with any third party
• We do not read the content of your PDF files

Cookies & local storage

We use browser localStorage to persist your session token, drawing preferences, and autosaved work. No third-party cookies are set.

Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You may delete your account and all associated data by contacting us or using the in-app project delete feature.

Security

Passwords are stored as salted HMAC-SHA256 hashes. All production traffic is served over HTTPS. PDF files and project data are stored on an isolated server disk not accessible to the public.
